The new Multistrada V2 and V2 S offer the perfect balance of lightness, handling and comfort. The slim design and improved ergonomics make for smooth and accessible riding, while the new frame and V2 engine ensure stability and responsiveness.   • Redesigned Front End — The front end of the new Multistrada V2 stands out for its sporty lines, which lean forward for a more aggressive and dynamic look. The beak has been redesigned and is now shorter, better integrating with the rest of the bike. Blending perfectly with the side panels, the new fairings and deflectors boost the aerodynamics and thermal comfort. Inspired by the Multistrada V4 and the Panigale, the headlight makes for a more aggressive look and better visibility, while ensuring that the V2 is easily recognisable.
  • 5-inch Full TFT Display — The new 5” full TFT color display offers excellent visibility in all conditions, with optimum contrast and vivid colors. The interface has been completely redesigned to ensure an intuitive experience, with customizable layouts for easy viewing of all information.
  • Evolved Chassis for greater precicion and stability — The new Multistrada V2 can count on a completely revised chassis. The aluminum monocoque frame, which rests on the supporting engine, contributes to reducing the weight and improving the bike’s agility. In addition, the trellis subframe and new aluminum double-sided swingarm boost stability and stress resistance, ensuring optimum control in every riding situation. These updates optimize comfort and handling, making the V2 more responsive and stable, both through the turns and at speed.
  • Independent Suspension Modes for customized riding — The new Suspension Modes on the Multistrada V2 S offer advanced control of the suspension and are completely independent from the Riding Mode. This means you can customize the suspension response without altering the engine power and operation settings.
  • Optimized Ergonomics for rider and passenger —The completely revamped seat is adjustable in two heights (33.5 in and 32.7 in) and can be lowered further to 31.9 in in the standard version and to 31.1 in with the lowered suspension kits in the S version, providing excellent accessibility for riders of all statures. Passenger comfort has been increased, with leg and torso space optimized for a more comfortable and relaxed position. Every trip, even the longest, thus becomes extremely pleasant.

The NEW V2 Engine — The lightest twin-cylinder ever produced in Borgo Panigale.

890 cc displacement with a weight of just 120 lb (54.4 kg).

The new V2 engine sees Ducati take yet another innovative step forward with an engine that is up to 19.8 lb lighter than the previous Superquadro and approximately 12.7 lb lighter than the Testastretta Evoluzione and the Desmodue that equips the Scrambler®. A result that allows Ducati designers to engineer bikes that are even lighter as well as more agile, enjoyable and high-performance. 

The iconic 90° architecture of the new V2 engine continues the tradition of Ducati sports engines. Slender and with real personality in its tone and delivery, the V configuration of the cylinders also ensures the intrinsic balancing of first order forces, with no need for a countershaft to eliminate vibration.

Thanks to the Intake Variable Timing (IVT) system, the new Ducati twin delivers very linear torque right from low rpm, with a prompt and exciting throttle response, and sports performance at high rpm. This is because the IVT system intervenes by progressively varying the timing of the intake valve control across a 52° range, via a timing actuator on the end of the camshaft.
